چکیده

Tkwant is a Python package for the simulation of quantum nanoelectronics devices to which external time-dependent perturbations are applied. an extension Kwant (https://kwant-project.org/) and can handle same types systems: discrete tight-binding-like models that consist arbitrary central region connected semi-infinite electrodes. The problem genuinely many-body even in absence interactions treated within non-equilibrium Keldysh formalism. Examples applications include propagation plasmons generated by voltage pulses, excitations Hall regime, spectroscopy Majorana fermions semiconducting nanowires, current-induced skyrmion motion spintronic devices, multiple Andreev reflection, Floquet topological insulators, thermoelectric effects, more. code has been designed be easy use modular. free software distributed under BSD license found at https://tkwant.kwant-project.org/.

Kwant: a software package for quantum transport

Kwant is a Python package for numerical quantum transport calculations. It aims to be a user-friendly, universal, and high-performance toolbox for the simulation of physical systems of any dimensionality and geometry that can be described by a tight-binding model. Kwant has been designed such that the natural concepts of the theory of quantum transport (lattices, symmetries, electrodes, orbital...

Time-dependent density functional theory for quantum transport.

Based on our earlier works [X. Zheng et al., Phys. Rev. B 75, 195127 (2007); J. S. Jin et al., J. Chem. Phys. 128, 234703 (2008)], we propose a rigorous and numerically convenient approach to simulate time-dependent quantum transport from first-principles. The proposed approach combines time-dependent density functional theory with quantum dissipation theory, and results in a useful tool for st...

Field Dependent Charge Carrier Transport for Organic Semiconductors at the Time of Flight Configuration

In this paper, we used the time-of-flight (TOF) of a charge packet, that injected by a voltage pulse to calculate the drift velocity and mobility of holes in organic semiconducting polymers. The technique consists in applying a voltage to the anode and calculating the time delay in the appearance of the injected carriers at the other contact. The method is a simple way to determine the charge t...

Smile Analyzer: A Software Package for Analyzing the Characteristics of the Speech and Smile

Taking into account the factors related to lip-tooth relationships in orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning is of prime importance. Manual quantitative analysis of facial parameters on photographs during smile and speech is a difficult and time-consuming job. Since there is no comprehensive and user-friendly software package, we developed a software program called "Smile Analyzer" in the...

Time-dependent electron transport through the multi-terminal quantum dot

We consider the time-dependent electron transport through a quantum dot connected to multiple leads in the presence of the additional over-dot (bridge) tunnelling channels by using the evolution operator technique. Each terminal and quantum dot are disturbed by an external oscillating field resulting in a time-dependence of the corresponding energy levels. The final analytical expressions for t...
